About Stay One
Stay One (b. Norway) is a Norwegian graffiti artist who works under a pseudonym. StayOne has been active as a graffiti artist since the mid-1990s and is well known in the environment both here in Norway and abroad. He made his breakthrough during Rock The Spot in Kristiansand in 2002 and in 2008 one of his works was accepted at the Autumn Exhibition. Since then, he has participated in a number of group exhibitions and graffiti-related art projects. He has several times participated in the Xplosif Festival in Stavanger, XRay in Oslo, Street Art in Kristiansand, and RooftopLegends in New York. He has also performed decorating assignments for Tønsberg Municipality, Hafjell Alpinsenter, Miniøya and Bridgeport Artsfest in the USA.
For the past 15 years, he has received recognition for his “Spraycations”, where he travels around the world and stays in one place for a long time and makes his mark visually. The last 4 years have been dedicated to Norway, where he travels from south to north, with the name, OFT TOUR. StayOne has brought local heroes and international legends with his tour. Cities such as Mandal, Kristiansand, Lillesand, Tønsberg, Drammen, Oslo, Lillehammer, Trondheim, Sandnes, Stavanger, Mosjøen, Bodø, Sulitjelma, Tromsø, Alta and Honningsvåg have all been visited by the OFT Tour…
