Artist ELLE

ELLE (b.USA), is a highly acclaimed street artist whose work captivates with its evocative, lavish, and thought-provoking themes. Her journey from the underground graffiti scene in New York to becoming one of the world's most sought-after street artists is nothing short of inspiring. As noted in Xavier Tapies' book, Women Street Artists, "ELLE has created some of the most memorable walls in all street art."

Her artistic reach extends globally, with exhibitions at prestigious venues such as the Saatchi Gallery in London, the Urban Nation Museum in Berlin, and a 200-foot projection onto the façade of the New Museum in New York. ELLE's art has also garnered acclaim in Vogue Australia, featuring in "32 pieces of Melbourne street art to see before you die." Additionally, her graffiti has made its way into popular culture, appearing in the Tom Clancy video game The Division.

ELLE's influence is visible across various mediums and locations. In New York, she has created large-scale murals, such as a 3,000-square-foot painting at the base of the iconic Vessel structure along the High Line, and a four-story-high tribute to Ruth Bader Ginsburg in the Lower East Side. Her 10,000-square-foot mural in Fort Monmouth, NJ, stands as one of her most ambitious projects.

Her artistic pursuits continue to evolve. In 2022, ELLE ventured into the NFT space and collaborated with Toyota to launch the 2022 Corolla Cross. In 2023, she debuted a limited artist edition bathroom suite with Kohler in Milan's historic Senate building Plaza, spoke at Hamburg's OMR Festival on stage with artist Shepard Fairey, and installed a painting for the permanent collection at STRAAT Museum in Amsterdam. In 2024, ELLE collaborated with Samsung to create an immersive pop-up gallery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Currently ELLE is spending studio time developing large-scale sculpture prototypes, incorporating materials like ceramics and bent and blown glass, which she has been studying at Chihuly's renowned glass institute, Pilchuck, in Washington. This year, she also completed building her own neon workshop, opening new horizons for her unique artistic expression.
